What it does
A socket shaped for the NACS plug
The opening follows the flat, rounded NACS connector, so the plug slides in the way it goes into the car and stays upright. With the connector end inside the socket, the pins stay out of dust and the plug is not knocked off a shelf or a hook.

The curved tongue above the socket takes the weight of the coiled cable, so the plug is not holding it up and the cable is not lying on the floor. Hang the cable in loose loops: tight coils strain it where it enters the handle.
Mounts with three screws
Three screws and three wall anchors come in the box. Drill the holes, tap in the anchors for drywall or masonry, and screw the holster to the wall beside the charger, at a height you can reach without bending.
Overview
The NACS plug is the slim Tesla-style connector, now also fitted to chargers from other brands under the SAE J3400 standard. This holster gives it a socket on the wall, so the plug is parked upright between charges instead of hanging by its cable or lying on the garage floor.
The curved hook above the socket carries the coiled cable and takes its weight off the plug. The holster is one molded piece, mounted with the three screws and anchors supplied, in a garage or under cover outside.
Compatibility

Fits NACS (SAE J3400) plugs, including the plugs on Tesla Wall Connectors and Mobile Connectors. It does not fit J1772 plugs.
- For a charger with a J1772 plug, including one used with a Tesla adapter, choose the J1772 holster.

Questions about this product
Does it fit a Tesla Wall Connector?
Yes. The Wall Connector ends in a NACS plug, and the holster is shaped for the NACS connector. The same goes for the plug of a Tesla Mobile Connector and for chargers from other brands that use a NACS plug.
Does it hold the Mobile Connector’s control unit?
No. It holds the plug at the car end of the cable. The unit at the wall end of a Mobile Connector stays plugged into the outlet.
I drive a Tesla, but my charger has a J1772 plug. Is this the right holster?
No. The holster has to match the plug on the charger, not the car. A charger with a J1772 plug needs the J1772 holster, even when a Tesla charges from it through an adapter.
Can I mount it outdoors?
Yes, where rain does not run straight into the socket: under the charger, under an eave or under a cover. It is molded plastic, and the anchors supplied suit drywall and masonry.
