InterCar Group Inc. arranges towing, roadside assistance, vehicle transport, vehicle buying and EV charger service across the United States through a network of vetted, licensed local operators. We match your job to the right one, agree the price up front, and stay reachable until it is done.
What we actually do
When your car will not start on a Tuesday morning, the problem is not that no tow truck exists nearby. It is that you do not know which one to call, what it should cost, or whether the price you are quoted on the phone is the price you will pay.
That is the gap we work in. We maintain a network of local operators, screen them before they take a job, publish what the work typically costs, and route your request to someone who covers your area. The operator confirms the price with you before they set off.
Every operator in the network is an established local business that carries the license and the insurance its state requires. What we add is the matching, the pricing transparency, and someone to call when something goes wrong.
Why a network beats a fleet
A national fleet would mean owning trucks in every metro area we serve, which is how you end up covering six cities well and forty badly.
Local operators already exist everywhere, they already know their own roads and impound rules, and they are already equipped. The thing that is genuinely missing is a way for a driver to find a good one quickly and know the price in advance.
The trade-off is real and worth stating: we do not control the truck. What we control is who is in the network, what they agree to charge, and whether they stay in it.
The group behind this
InterCar has operated in Europe for years across these same service lines: roadside assistance, towing, vehicle transport, buying end-of-life and damaged vehicles, and EV charging equipment maintenance. The French business runs at inter-car.fr.
That experience is why the US operation starts with a working pricing model, a dispatch process and a partner-vetting standard rather than inventing them from scratch.
It is also why we are careful about what we claim here. The European track record belongs to the European business. This is a new US company, and it has to earn its own record.
What we will not do
A few commitments that are easy to make and easy to check:
- No invented reviews or star ratings. We have no US review history yet. When we have real reviews, they will be real.
- No made-up statistics. No "50,000 drivers helped", no "average 22-minute response". If we publish a number, it has a source.
- No firm price we cannot honor. Every estimate is a range, and the operator confirms the final price before being dispatched.
- No arrival-time promise from a web form. Traffic, weather and truck availability decide that, and nobody can guarantee it from a chat window.
