SMS program terms

We text you only about a request you made. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. Standard message and data rates apply.

What this program is

When you submit a request on this site and check the consent box, you agree to receive calls and text messages from InterCar Group and the local service partner handling your request, at the phone number you gave us.

The messages are about that request: confirming we received it, connecting you with the operator, telling you when they are on the way, and following up afterwards.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can request service without agreeing to texts — call us or email us instead.

How many messages you will get

Message frequency varies with your request. A single roadside call typically generates two to five messages: a confirmation, a dispatch notice, and a follow-up.

We do not run a recurring marketing SMS program. We do not sell your number to a list.

How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message to be removed. You will get one final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then nothing further.

Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at the email address below.

Stopping texts does not cancel a service request already in progress. If a truck is on the way, call us so we can tell the operator.

  • STOP — unsubscribe from this program
  • HELP — receive help information
  • START — resume messages after you have stopped them

Carrier charges

Message and data rates may apply. Those charges come from your mobile carrier, not from us, and depend on your plan.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Supported carriers and devices

The program works on major US wireless carriers. Delivery is not guaranteed on every carrier or in every location, and messages can be delayed by network conditions outside our control.

What we do with your number

Your number is used to reach you about your request and is shared with the local operator assigned to it, so they can contact you directly.

How we handle the rest of your information is set out in our Privacy Policy, including your rights to access, delete, and opt out of sharing.

Contact

Questions about this program can be sent to the contact address published in the site footer. We answer messaging questions the same way we answer privacy requests.
