What it does
A lined pocket and a sealing flap
The pocket is lined with signal-shielding fabric, and the flap folds over its opening and fastens with hook-and-loop. Put the fob in, then press the flap down along its whole width so no gap is left.
Room for a phone
At 7.5 by 3.9 inches, the pouch holds a key fob alongside a phone of about 5.9 by 3 inches, so one pouch covers both at dinner or overnight in a hotel room.
Two for a household
The two-pouch option keeps the spare fob in one pouch and the everyday fob in the other, or gives each driver in the house their own.
Overview
A pouch is the Faraday box you can carry. Drop the key fob into the lined pocket, fold the flap over and press it shut, and the fob cannot be picked up by a relay device in a restaurant, an office or a hotel, while the car is parked out of sight.
It is large enough for a phone as well, which pauses calls and notifications while it is inside, and slim enough for a jacket pocket. Test it with your own fob: seal it in, walk to the car and try the door.

How do I test it?
Seal your fob in the pouch, walk to the car and try the door handle: it should not unlock. To test with a phone, seal the phone inside and call it from another phone; it should not ring.
Where does the fob go?
Into the lined pocket under the flap. Fold the flap over and press the hook-and-loop strip down along its whole width before putting the pouch away.
Will my phone still receive calls inside?
No. A phone sealed inside loses its signal, so calls and notifications wait until it comes out. Keep that in mind before sealing a phone in overnight.
Should I choose a box or a pouch?
A box by the front door is the easy habit at home. A pouch comes with you to work, restaurants and hotels. Many households keep a box at home and a pouch in the bag.
